ART LEASE Program
Local businesses and organizations interested in obtaining art for their buildings should explore our Art Lease program. You can help support UCM Art & Design students while you fill your spaces with beautiful 2D and/or 3D works of art!
KLEPPE VISITING ARTIST SERIES
Supported by the Kleppe family, this series brings a visiting artist to UCM to present their work and interact with students each Monday during the fall and spring semesters. Presentations are open to the public and available via Zoom as well.
UCM GAllery of Art & Design
Our Gallery produces a full season of shows each year as well as maintaining the permanent art collection of the university. In both the main Gallery and Gallery 115 nearby, you can explore works by living artists as well as current faculty and students.
GAllery Kids
Twice each semester, we welcome kids to participate in art programs guided by UCM Art Education faculty and students.
Portfolio Review
High school students who would like feedback from a UCM faculty member can sign up for a free portfolio review.

The UCM High School Art Exhibition is a selection of outstanding artwork which will be on display March 4 - 22, 2024. The event is open to all high school students.

The UCM High School Art Exhibition is a selection of outstanding artwork which will be on display March 4 - 22, 2024. The event is open to all high school students.

Students are allowed two pieces of work and can enter any original work that falls into the following classifications:
- Drawing
- Painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor)
- Mixed Media
- Printmaking (serigraphy, relief, intaglio)
- Fibers
- Design/Graphics
- Photography (minimum size 5” x 7”)
- Ceramics
- Sculpture
The call for all art entries begins January 1, 2024 and closes February 11, 2024.

The 2023 High School Art Contest Day will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024. Registration begins February 1, 2024.
